I grew up on the sunny side of southern California. I learned a whole lot about life and photojournalism in various newspaper internships in cities across the United States. I've worked for the San Francisco Chronicle, Columbus Dispatch, Major League Baseball, New York Daily News, and New York Post. Currently, I am a photo editor at The Daily Beast. 

My photographic dabbling started with hanging out in fixer-filled darkrooms of my high school, and has since led me to great opportunities learning from many inspiring professors, fellow photogs, and strangers alike.
